These engines are pretty easy to do and you can do a build yourself if you have any mechanical skills at all. Had a nice build planned for our 2i before it got written off.
Probably around £500, depends if it needs oversized pistons ect, if ur talking new rings, shells, seals ect probably around £400 new cam?, theres loads to take into consideration, as someone already said from £300 quid upwards, max £700 absoloutely max if needs cam or any other major bits
