If I remember correctly, you never ACTUALLY saw her dead body, just Doms' "vision" of her getting shot next to the crashed car.

I agree though with the above comments, saw it Sunday evening and it definitely is a good one. Almost fell asleep though waiting for it to start. Why have 25 minutes of crappy adverts before you even get to the previews of films I do not know

Agree with Ian only doms vision of what happened and a coffin no actual dead body of letty only got to give a reason for her leaving

 

Also the bit where Eva Mendez says "Do you believe in ghosts?" before handing him the file with Lettys photo on it. To me, that says she is already meant to be dead, which means it must be late.

In the second film, Rome does not know that O'Connor is no longer police, but in the last one they make reference to the "Miami job", which was the 2nd film.

 

I don't see that. Just seems a far fetched plot where she wasn't killed. Order still seems clear to me!

 

Yer basically 5 brings characters from 1 2 and 4 together I think they did 3 to be something different and realised it wasnt as well received as they thought being a completely new cast(do like it tho) and then put vin diesel in at the end to open it back up again to make 4 5 and more than likely 6

Fucking lying there mangled up from the wreck and the dude chasing her walks up and shoots her FFS , whether in his vision or not !

I think the producer saw early versions of eastenders where Dirty Den was killed off , then miraculously bought back to life

And what happened to the guy that drove the Yellow Skyline in 1 then ? All you see at the end of it is him going back to collect Letty ...... if theyre bringing back Vince who lets face it was nearly dying in 1 why not that dude too ?

Anyway cant wait for 6 for some more dubious plot lines .......

 

That's the point tho u see when Dom work out to have happened doesn't mean that actually is what happened jutst presumed you don't know what decision she made (presuming she is actually alive) to start again elsewhere end of the day it's a film they can write what they want as as long as it make some sence

went to see it friday.i really enjoyed it.its got to be taken as a popcorn film though.its ott but a cracking film! as good as the first imo. the only one im not reallya big fan of was 2 fast 2 furious.and some of the naff graphics in tokyo drift.

the new one works well imo.and the cars feature more too this time.and there are some cool cars

How much would they have to charge to see the film if they didn't get revenue from advertising? I hate the ads too but i have to endure them so i get a good seat!

Anyone notice in the first one when he drives up to the cruise in the eclipse the neons/cable dragging on the floor? When his floor falls out and yet when he picks up dom later he doesn't fall through?

Its not the most complex of story lines, just switch your brain off and enjoy!

 

Or how he has "fried the piston rings" and then drives off absolutely fine with it not even smoking

And despite things like that, here people are trying to pick apart the exact wording between 2 different films to see if it is perfect continuity

I dont expect continuity , but neither do I expect some producer to try and take the absolute piss when it comes to story lines etc

Anyway I enjoyed it massively for what it was , probably the best one of the franchise for me

 

If you expect anything other than total unrealistic nonsense and full of errors but occasionally entertaining, you must be watching the wrong the series of films

 

Probably right , I dont even mind the errors or unrealistic nonsense but bringing people back from the dead is just beyond the pail .........

I was going to say, soaps are probably far worse than these films. Everyone shagging everyone else, people murdering their neighbours, soaps are much worse

As I said, I enjoyed it. The order seems simple enough, but then perhaps I'm not analysing it like some. Cars have gotten pretty tasteful generally, though have taken a bit of a back seat now. I'm interested to see how they're going to work six anyway, maybe she'll be a ghost, or it will all have been a dream and Vin Diesel will wake up and none of it will have happened

Saw it tonite, good film, bit more of a story, not to many B__shite momments!!.
They need to use a cossy in one, that would be cool LOL!!

 

Good action film, almost like they watched the Ocean films for ideas.

Sooooooooo cheesey in parts nearing the end it's unreal, the Rocks a big bastard though

Looking forward to 6 - missus isn't though

 

regardless of how far fetched the films are i still thought it was really good and the rock and dom fight was cool
