Went for the CRX VT, but was close to going for the Civic i-VT... either way it's a fantastic engine in featherweight jap tin boxes.
Cheers,

Uno turbo everytime, and I`ve had nearly all those cars or been in them/raced them back in the day.
Bleed valve,1 bar boost and it was proper hunting territory, wasted several big boys over the years in mine, including some serious embarrassment to a 16valve golf gti,it was awesome fun.
Downsides?unreliable, shite handling and terrible build, but seeing all those led`s light up on the dash and watching that boost gauge peak just off the end was awesome, loss of traction in near enough all gears in the wet was great too. I remember one night down the Kingsway in Swansea there were about 6 of us with them,in various colours, one even had a DIGIDASH!!!
Out of the others listed it would be the 16v gte for me,R5 was just the most unreliable car ever, pug too slow, golf mk1 cool,mk2 needed a decent engine, civics were ok but pretty rare back in the day and all that other jap shite was just that, shite.
Mk1 astra gte also a cracking shout.
