This is what no one tells you when when you buy something in a non EU country "I think they call them hidden charges" more like government rip off

When are we going to stop being ripped off by our government dont we already pay enough?????

Item + Shipping + £265.00 now add US duty at 3.5%
£ 8.05 "thats not fair UK customs at your service we want more so lets add the 3.5% of US charges (every penny counts!) onto the parts and shipping then lets go for a wopping 17.5% on top. Let me see thats a good whopping

US Duty £ 8.05
UK Duty £ 49.74 and just for the hell of it
UPS "just to do it £ 11.00

Grand total £ 333.79 according to my calculations the DUTY is 53% of the value of the items. moral of story read the small print Oops forgot "British Customs are EXEMPT from small print" F**K the British government
