You can still get the fiesta metal, not ltd run just high spec like the zetec s model, a few lads at work bought them as we got a good deal on them

I remember reading a question sent into fast ford a few year back about a st200 in a lighter shade of blue that was turbo'd as standard. They then confirmed this to be true and was so rare they'd not heard of it. Don't know what it was called though
with plastic lx wheel trims, dark grey/black stone chip below the side moulding/protector

To me, a limited or special edition car is a model produced for a specific period of time or number of units, and to a certain non-standard specification.
A lot of the stuff getting added to the list are regular production models that are in the sales catalogue, or even mainstream models in unusual/rare/unpopular/non-standard colours.
Also, a lot of dealers would make their own specials from time to time, maybe by swapping wheeltrims, adding a spoiler and/or a pop-up suroof, or some sidestripes. These don't appear in any manufacturer picelist or Glasses Guide, so aren't limted or special editions as far as I'm concerned.
For example, when Audi introduced their Lifestyle colours there was a Ł2000 premium, but we reduced the residual by another Ł2000 so not a lot of people took up the option. That means there aren't many of these cars available, but it doesn't make them limited or special editions. Similarly, Mercedes have their Designo service where you can get pretty much any combination of colour trim and spec, but those aren't limited/special editions either. And was it BMW Mini who said that they had so many options available that, if you wanted to, you could spec your car to be unique? That doesn't make your Mini Cooper a special edition either, does it?

There were a few capris.
Mk1 vista special
Rs3100
Mk3 gt4,carousel, cabaret 1&2,calypso and laser plus 100 tickfords were made.
There were also a lot of dealer only limited edition cars there was a lot of mk4 escort 'tigers' local too me that were White with tiger badges and were a days of Swansea limited edition.
