Turbo technices done a conversion for the 2.0injection pinto,if your lucky you may come across a conversion.also ford experimented with turbo pintos in the 80's and some kits leaked out, carb'd with a cast sealed filter over the carb with rs emblem.very rare but you may come across one of these kits.

Is the US Merkur head different than the Pinto head ?

Ive seen cast turbo manifolds years ago for the Pinto, but that was a long time ago

Easiest option would be to find a similar cheap manifold off another car and adapt it.

And then you search on ebay, and what turns up lol

Could easily slap an adaptor back down to T3

Or a tubular one from Norway

Thanks for the info guys..
I am after a more stock look and find the T4 manifold a bit crude.
I'm really not interested in a welded one, so i'll guess i will look for a Turbo Technics one.

The us version of our pinto is a 2.3 litre LIMA engine, so totally different, volvo heads commonly fitted to those for 16V!!

if you are after a manifold with a standard appearance....it isnt uncommon for people to adapt factory n/a cast manifolds for turbo use.
