Fill the bottle up and with the engine turned off go lock to lock a dozen times then start the car and it should work as they are prone to air locks when tank is removed. If it dont work the first time keep trying and it will clear the lock in it.

Do it with the engine off because if it is running it dont move the air lock around. Only start the car once you have gone lock to lock a few times first.

If you do it with the engine running and go lock to lock and hold it on the lock briefly you will see air bubbles coming up in to the tank.

I had the same thing happen to mine after changing the pipe.

you've got an air lock in the pump

fill the tank with fluid, cover the sides to stop it from splashing everywhere, spin the wheel full lock to full lock and hold it at the lock for a second or 2 each time

eventually the air will come out and the fluid will go down

unless you've had the inside of the tank contaminated and that crud has got into the system, then you might be fucked

Have you tried to loosen off one of the pipes to see if any air is let out?

Leave it in the lock position and briefly turn the wheel so it physically won't move any more and hold it there for 2 seconds, release and look at the tank with the lid off and there should be air bubbles come up in to the tank.

Do it with the engine running and you should see the air bubbles come up, repeat going from lock to lock.

Mine took quite a while to bleed but it came through eventually.

Do the revs rise when you go to full lock and also is the connector plugged in ok on the pump and not melted?
