the gf's 2005 corsa goes into limp mode. we broke down in manchester a few weeks ago got AA out as car would not go over 2.5k no boost they found fault code p0108
been told ist either.....

egr valve
map sensor
air flow sensor not that as have taken it off and still goes into limp mode
turbo boost pipe
turbo unit

looked on other fourms but no luck hence im posting it on here
need to know what this code means as im fooked if im buying bit by bit to find out its not them

Code P0108 is a generic code for the MAP sensor pressure circuit being high.

I would check the inlet system for a blockage. Start with the EGR and inlet manifold and work out from there.

can i unplug the map sensor will car still run and if it dont go limp mode il know it thats

and is this a common fault

 

found out it was the map sensor. unpluged it and it not gone into limp mode since. thanks pete
