i work for the AA the phone interview for them was pretty basic tbh, they just asked about my history and experienc etc, dont be afraid to be confident and show them that you what your talking about. dont forget to tell them everything!!! and tell them that your confident to do work on any vehicle and it isnt a problem. then from there you should be succssfull and go threw to a practical assesment were they ask you to diaganose stuff etc and thats down to you to pass that. and them a in person interview and basicaly be the same as on the phone. thats for the AA anyway and i cant see the rac being much differnt.
