Just a quick one.
Hello,
When i was putting on the rad in the cossie, does it just fit on with two bolts? (one each side)
I put them in and it dont seem safe and i cant think if anymore go in and i cant see anywhere that it fits too. The little rubber thing at the top hits on the cooler but does not stop it from rocking.
Many Thanks Eigdoog

The only bolts that hold the rad are the bottom one, that go up through the bush's/tube, that sandwich the rad flange, if it is aftermarket, the std rad secures to the bottom of the intercooler, but if on RS500 cooler they bang against each other, at least on my airtec ones, I did suggest to them simply welding a fitting to join the two as one unit so to speak, but it fell on deaf ears.
I use a old bit of exhaust hanger rubber cut up to go between the two and then a tie wrap around the top hose fitting on the rad, and secure it around the head light shell, keeps it all nice and snug.

Its a standard rad and all i could see is the two bolts (one each side) that go up into the car.
But the little rubber bits i have on top of the rad that touches the cooler (standard) use to be kinda "glued" together so i guess the rad was more secure that way but i dont know how safe that was.
Tightening the bolts didn't help at all as it still rocks like hell, so would the cable ties stop all this and be safe?
Many Thanks Eigdoog.
