Default Ford Transit Brakes..

I've just bought a Mk5 Transit 120 SWB for my job and the front brakes need replacing.

My job involves a fair bit of towing and i was wondering about upgrading the front brakes to something from a later Transit.

Does anyone have any idea if the brakes on the later Transit's were larger than the 5 stud 254mm x 25mm the van already has.

Cheers!

you will struggle to find a set up that will fit behind the 14" wheels to be honest. a decent of disks and pads will stop you well enough as ive got a mk5 100 lwb (14" wheels) and that stops fine loaded even when towing heavy stuff.

Yeah i've decided to just get some decent pads and discs, so i've gone for Mintex pads with Brembo discs.
