Default CONFUSED.COM with insurance

our lass has been looking at renewing the insurance on the rs.

the company we use now have upped it by 150 notes, so when shopping around the insurance can be had a little cheaper bout 30 notes.
but when looking a company called sureterm direct have quoted on a classic policy at 135 but they dont need any no claims, sooooo the question is if we went with them and used the no claims thats already built up and stopped with them for two years would there still be a ncd usable to other insurers after the 2 year period?
providing obviously theres no claim made?

Most lose their validity after 2 years.

Of course though I can't say that applies to EVERY single insurer but I would say the vast majority would no longer accept them.
