I seen this earlier and was thinking the exact same thing... Probably thinks he can charge what he likes cause it's an escos.

If that is genuinely a fresh 25k mile straight out of storage car then the Cat D wouldn't matter as the car being a strong rust free low miler would out weigh the problem.

if its been dry stored like its claimed the ebay advert had a bit more info it will be a good car ! the seat has a bit of wear on the bolster for 25k i would expect it to look better.

purely guessing but maybe part of a bigger picture, organised crime gang etc that's taken time to pull a complete case together.

Cars dont get Q plated anymore im sure ! i know of 2 mk3 xr3i's that were a local police pound for 13 years only to be taken to the scrap when the police got new premises ! there was a saphire cossie in the same yard someone stole the rear spoiler off it that lay for about 5 years then dissapeared one day! The police arent in any hurry with anything like that.

No, if true identity is known then the numbers can simply be stamped back in.

I'd sooner buy a 60K car that has had light use through its life TBH
Looks nice, but I think its over priced.

Stuff can easily get tied up in the Police impound for a long time. I know of an rs500 that has been there nearly 5 years.

Worst bit is it's not stolen/recovered either. Bit of a gutter TBH. 99% sure its genuine, rear ariel looks in right place, even got standard exhaust on.

Couldnt really comment without having a proper look at it ..
