I don't see how anyone could say that there's no way he could have stopped (the car he passed before entering the tunnel did?)!!! I reckon there was plenty of time to stop, a clear case of driving too fast whilst being on autopilot. I would bet he actually got prosecuted for that driving.

Agreed, even in the video you can see all the brake lights. An all too common case of a lorry driver sitting on cruise control not paying proper attention.
seems a bit weird that you would record a trivial journey like that unless it's staged.. Coincidence that there just happened to be a big pile up in the tunnel ? i think not. tbh

Not necessarily Stuart, many insurance firms recommend the fitting of dash board cameras to apportion blame in a collision.
Similar to a black box, it'll over write itself after a predetermined period, unless there is an incident involving excessive force, ie running up the back of a line of cars which would preserve the data .
