Default What convertible would you have?

Come June / July time i'll probably be outing my S4 and getting a convertible for the summer but not a clue what one to get!! (gonna wait until Winter to get a RR Sport!!). Always wanted an SL500 merc but having driven one it felt too old!! So, what convertible would you have, up to around the 18k/20k mark? Preferably a larger style convertible (ie - 4 seats) but wouldnt disregard a smaller one.

Chris

Have to say I would agree with the E46 M3.

I love the drive of the Porsche Boxster but it only has 2 seats and I recall you not being keen on them.

Not keen on the E46's im afraid, far too common now and reckon it would be a bitch to sell on!! I'd prefer a 6 series convertible over one....

Oranoco - had a boxster s mate

Mark - I like that mate , how quick are they?

I did look at them as I thought I could put my S4 back to standard and move it all across, but the bootspace is just non-existent, a packet of crisps would just about fit in it!!!!

6 series vert or A4 RS4 would suit you by the sounds of it (chances are your not gonna get much boot space with any vert i would have thought!)

My cousins got a SL55 amg and its an awesome piece of kit with a lovely interior. But i could only afford the SL500 and same as you i thought it just felt abit outdated/old man when i sat in one. So I went for an E46 M3 vert

Ah cool so quick enough i spose....! Problem is and what worries me is the age of them, plus the cost of repairs!!!! Thankfully my boxster S had no probs when I had it so i'm due an expensive bill soon!!

That 645ci convertible looks nice!!!!
