My first ford when i passed my test 2001was a 1.4 gl orion only had it for 3 months then got a 1990 sierra glsi dohc just a post to see what your first ford was

 

When I passed my test in April 1991, my 1st car was an Austin Montego....oh the shame....

My 1st Ford was a 1.25 Zetec Fiesta on a S plate in Metallic Bronze, was a lovely car, been with Ford ever since...2 Fiesta's A Puma & a Focus

 

When i passed my test, my first car was a MK1 XR2. ive only ever bought fords

 

in about 1981 my first ford, 1973 ford cortina mk3 1600 glx, until the camshaft started tapping, lol

 

think my 1st ford was a sierra and iam still buying them

 

My first car was a 1.4L mk4 escort......at the time i thought i was the kiddy in it and my god did that car get a hard life, engine threw in the towel after 6 months or so.....a few years later i was back to where i started when i bought a deries 2 rs turbo lol

 

After my glsi had loads of sierras a mondeo si then got motability car for my little girl cmax tdci after that dnt no why got 57 astra estate then got my escort cebriolet last july my project the december got our latest motability car fiesta zetec 1.4 tdci so im a ford man again love um allways have

Got a mk1escort, dropped out the 1.1 and fitted a bored out 1.6, 1700 with a rallycross cam (power band 3k to 7k) , twin downdrafts, 4 into 1 and a two inch exaust I brought home to Ireland on the bus, planes for the rich then.had 8" banded steels and two inch lowering blocks with 2" lower springs on the front,remember I had a tiny 12" steering wheel...lol

 

First driven mk3 3i's and Xr4i's,ok at 14 you cant really take em on the road
Cars being a couple of years old and my old man being a trader with probably 30 odd cars at a time.First Ford owned,Mk1 Escort 1740 or 60 or something,then mk2 then a fez.Admittedly when I first started to drive legally I was a Fiat freak.They were always faster,and not just at rotting
Oh and then I was on trade at 17 because no one would insure me because I had been banned twice,D'oh !!.Young and stupid and loved motorbikes.

 

no mate only eva had ma own insurance, but was mega expensive was just over 2k for the 4i and then at 19 with the cossie it was just over 4k, now at 22 the cossie is cheaper lol only bein like 800

My first Ford was a 3 year old MK2 XR2 when I was 18 back in 1991. It's reg was F661 FTO. Loved that car. Had a Power Engineering 1905cc conversion done. The thing flew. I'll dig some pictures out and get them scanned.

My first ford was a 1980 Escort MK2, 1.3L, metallic green with that minging herring-bone interior, cost Ł1000 and my insurance was Ł350 tpf&t. I was 21 and it was 1989.
It lasted a month until the clutch and starter motor went and i got my money back

 

23, passed in 2005


First car was my first ford, a Ka 1.3 standard as feck only optional extra was PAS.
Second car was a focus 1.8 hated it the whole 3 years i was driving it
Third car im on now is a SportKa and i fucking love it surprises so many bigger cars even in a straight line, handles like a dream and they are still so moddable. Have compomotives and sticky tyres on it, eibach springs.

Depending on time and money i might be running a 2.1 ZT by classicford show.

Also in my household there are 4 cars all fords, have grown up with mainly fords (or pauxhalls)

 

This was my first Ford looks a bit dated now .

 

The first one I had bought in 1974, with a 1300, that was replaced with a Mexico 1600 set up and the 4" x 12" wheels replaced by "massive" 5 1/2 x 13 Lotus Cortina wheels

First ever car was a Vauxhall Belmont BUT my first real car was.........

My first Ford was a Sierra Sapphire 92 Jreg facelift in tasman blue

Was immaculate inside and out with low miles, loved that car, kept it clean put cossie springs on it and cossie lattice wheels once i refurbed them and a 4" backbox

That was in 1997 iirc

When I was 20, a Capri Mk3 2.3.

 

My first ford was a 2door mk 2 escort which i bought for 50 quid. I was gonna do it up a bit. I took the carpet out and hoovered the rust out lol. I give it away in the end. Then i bought a mk2 fiesta which i put xr2 wheels on it. It had some house speakers in the boot lol,times were hard.

 

My first car was a green 1.1 metro , was a beast! Or so I thought , was just chuffed to be on the road ! After that got a corsa put a cavi gsi 130 engine in it and it lasted 4 weeks before gettin written
off by my mate when we swapped cars for 5 mins, cheers, then a mk1 fiesta, mk3 fiesta si, then a p100 with a xr4i engine welded diff and slammed with cossie bumper, then a rs2000 4x4 , escort rst s2, then a sierra gls dohc drift car then my 3 door cossie when I was 23, still got my 3 door and a focus for every day duties, still love fords

 

I've only ever owned fords.

My first was in late 1999 when i passed my test, got a brand new mk4 Fiesta 1.25 zetec as out insurance was mental, so it worked out cheaper to buy a brand new car with 3 years free insurance than it was to buy a cheap car and insure it

 

My first car was a 1992 1.3 Escort LX, bought from an auction for 300 quid. My old man drove it back to me waiting excitedly outside the house for it, jumped out of it and said 'well, the gearbox is fucked'! Great!

Looking back at it now, it was a total shitheap! Leaked, so it stank of damp, had no stereo and i never got around to fitting one, and was slow as hell....still, didnt stop me loosing control in the wet, hitting a traffic island, sliding through a T-junction sideways at about 50mph and wrapping it around a lampost!!!
