Cheers Stu, to be honest the car needs live mapped, as the spec has changed again this winter I know it'll be safe with your chip in it, but at the same time its not at its optimum. Hopefully i'll be able to get it over to you sometime this summer to get everything sorted!

No idea until james comes back from mapping, but I am also unsure why it matters? Any yes, as i stated, the other two work fine.

I dont follow you, I have tested them, we are discussing it right now!
Point 1, If i didn't answer why did you not leave a answerphone message ?

Point 2, Of course it matters at what temp the switch turns on and off, that was the whole reason i ordered a switch so my fans didn't stay on for long periods. How did you test them ? One came on at 92c but didn't turn off until 70c the other came on at 97c but the fans didn't turn off until i stopped the engine as the fans wouldn't cool the Rad below 70c. And the other one didn't work as you have said.

Point 3, i was refering to your second point in post 63

Steve

No idea mate, he usually would. Maybe there was no answering service on your home phone.
I know he tried 3 times that day and by his own admission then forgot all about it. Being honest, there was nothing to stop you giving us a call or email to ask how it was going either.

Point 2, Of course it matters at what temp the switch turns on and off,
If you read my reply I clearly told you they operated CORRECTLY and I wasn't sure why it matters which one worked out of the three?
The fact is, one didn't work. Who cares which one that was out of three identical white switches?

How did you test them?

The only way you can test them accurately, in a camping stove, heating gently, 2 degrees maximum climb or fall per minute with a £2000 thermal data logger recording the sensors terminal resistance.
Why do you ask?

Point 3, i was referring to your second point in post 63

Ah, you think that a month is long enough for us to have tested them on a car as well?
And how do you propose we guarantee to get a customers, with a sierra cosworth, who wants to wait all day while we piss about with his car to test fan switches on it whilst he gains nothing?
If we had one, we would have done it but this is a business Steve, I am not here to mess anyone around.

I have offered to test them on a car as well as my proper test just to put your mind at rest that it must be your car, but I am not going to annoy other customers to do it.
I have offered you a full refund which you refused but can still accept at any time you like so its not like your out of pocket. May I suggest you do so tomorrow as this is going nowhere fast.

This is what you said

I knw we tested them and recall we called you to say we had tested two as fine and one as totally dead, and to confirm further we were going to actually test them in a car we have in for live mapping for a week.

I did refuse a refund because i would prefer to have a switch that works

Steve

Do whatever is cheapest for you, either a refund or another switch.
