Default E39 530md or Mondeo 2.2 ST tdci
What would you buy? (silver 51 plate bmw) or the (black 55 plate mondeo ST)

Both have similar miles , BOTH have leather,(mondeos are recaros) and both have wide screen sat nav Both are the same price.

The BMW of course, due to the better build quality and more refined engine.

I have had both and would go for the 530d EVERYTIME............. easy

Dunno if it make a difference , both car are manual too

german build quality everytime mate

over time that will stand up to its rep

the bmw is a far better car in all accounts imo

Going from a Mondeo St to my 530d was like chalk and cheese...

The mondeo is a nice car but it just isnt in the same league for build quality, driving experience and all over enjoyment......
