Rhys, here is the fact of the pain, depending on where you get it will either hurt a little or alot! but ONLY for like the first 5 mins. After that it pretty much just gets numb. Size is also a factor, but since you're getting one the size of your C0CX it shouldn't be that pain ful!
I also think it comes down to the person doing it, there are two types..
Tattoist, and tattoo ARTIST. The person I've gone to does 90% of his work freehand and not traced. The better ones are usually expensive. Oh and yeah, like
Taryn said don't get #2 on the wall..you know..the black panther crawling up/down a leg with a tribal design behind it...

lol yeah Artisit sound expensive to me But i want a real go job done like i said want the Welsh flag 2/3 then the rest blended into the UK flag but want it done really trick Not big just some about right to go on back shoulder blade

The one on my shoulder never hurt but i had that done when i was pissed at 18

Then i had one designed for me by a mate and i took it in the shop and asked them if they could do it at the bottom of my back which they did!!! But I had to sit on the chair the wrong way round and i have never gripped any thing so tight in all my life my nuckles turned white lol The out line felt like he was sitting there with a stanley blade doing it!!! But the colouring in wasn't to bad! Was probably worse as was right on my spine!!! lol

whatever you decide to get done, its important you find a decent tattooist to do it, dont go to the cheapist etc, and make sure your comfatble with the guy/place doing it as well, I have lost count of the places i have walked out of

 

When i get my new one i will, its gonna be fookin awsome, just need to work out for a couple more months and save a few hundred quid

Ive got one "Joshua" on the bottom of my back, didnt really hurt at all, most painfulk bit was when it was goig over my spine, wasnt that bad, that could of been because the alchol i had just had, numbed the pain lol

I've got 2. Wanna get another one but don't wanna end up getting too carried away and turn into one of those tattoo chicks that are covered!

I have one that’s on me back which is about 5 long and 2 inches wide got that done when I was 16 and one on the top of me arm/shoulder which its 1 inch long and wide got that when I was 17

Just feels like a scratch that you can bear.

 

I have three tattoos, the only time I would say it hurt (and I couldn't really class it as pain) was when the guy stopped the needle to change colour, it made my skin feel as though it was burning. As for the price the guys near me charge more for detail and a lot of colour, basic designs such as tribal ones that are just black seem to cost a lot less.

When it comes to having tattoos people will tell you different things, I personally don't think that they hurt and I will have more (subtle ones of course), I'll also have more piercings too. I would warn anyone who is thinking of having them, you do get bitten by the tattoo/piercing bug.

 

yeah it hurts it all hurs some more than others price wise a pay 45 a hour. here's some of my latest work
