MATES RST CABBY GOT NICKED - THIEF DIED !!

And the solution will be to put a speed camera up
It's a stolen car FFS. They weren't bothered about nicking it so they're hardley going to give a stuff about slowing down for a camera
Notice one of the other incidents involved joyriders also
And why they call it "Joyriding" is a mystery to me. I can thing of more appropriate titles but none of them are printable

Don't think anyone deserves to die for stealing a car, but he was definitely old enough to know what he was doing. If he hadn't have nicked the car, he wouldn't have been there in the first place. Isn't that poetic justice?

Got no sympathy for the driver at all, just glad there were no other innocent victims... Just a pity that the emergency services had to waste their time cutting the thieving twat out of the car!! Hopefully the passenger has realised the error of his mates ways too!

Ok, so maybe he didnt deserve to die, but then again the car owner didnt deserve to get his car nicked, so call it quits i reckon.

Bad news about the car. Couldn't care less about the chump who nicked it. But....
Why would a speed camera have prevented this accident?

Pmsl at the comments on here, from what ive read only a few the facts and the rest of you are just stereotyping the typical car thief, indeed he might be a very nasty person who probably got what he deserved In the end.
But people make mistakes in life and imo should be given a second chance, there are probably a lot of people on this board who have made very bad mistakes and have made a good go of there second chance.
Dont judge a book by its cover.

All true, but it still make my cars less likely to get nicked, maybe after another couple of dozen cars he was going to reform (unlikley), would you fancy your motor being one of them? If not then be glad he is dead now and you dont have to worry about it as much as you did while he was alive.

People make mistakes and sort themselves out sometimes, but more often than not criminals continue to do what they do until someone stops them or they die.
Ok, so its nice you feel good honest christian feelings of pity, love, caring, forgiveness toward the theif, but on the other hand what about the victims of his crimes who deserve to just live their life without this sort of thing happening to them?
What if the next car he nicked and drove like this mounted the kerb and kill my nephew?
Would you still feel he deserved a second chance then?
Should i pray for god to forgive him as im stood at the side of the grave burying a friend or family member?
Ive lost someone close to me through a car thief running them over and killing them (victim was aged seven), and trust me EVERY time id sooner it was the thief that died than an innocent bystander that i care about.

Crews had to cut off the roof and drivers side of the Escort, and sub-officer Andrew Turner, of Oldham Fire Station, said: We had to work very rapidly because the men could not be stabilised in the car

If so i might pop past and pick some up, as obviously the dead guy approved of stealing, and they might be useful on the pull later.
