cool, one of our reps at work had a silver one oy05pov ,it was excellent, had 90k on clock and we only sold it for 3k. was close to buying it myself at that price, it had to have new gearbox as ocasionally it would jump out or not go in 1st gear. awesome car tho, i think they are around 150bhp and 295lb ft torque

Injectors and dual mass flywheels are prone to giving bother, alternator belt tensioners as well can get really noisy, same goes for the crankshaft damper.

Wheels bearings tend to go around 90 - 100k and coil springs break regularly !

Other than that they are fantastic cars.

Ditto what he said
I have one and it's been fantastic, 40 mpg on the run to work is worlds away from the 23 mpg I got in my previous St200

EGR valve aswell can be doggy. New one is about £300 fitted.

I loved mine and now dad has it. The EGR valve has been the only issue in 65k miles of usage. It was a 2006 Facelift. However, I did find it a bit soft. Thought the suspension would have been a bit more sporty. Did read somewhere that its the same as every other Mondeo, same with the brakes.

It was rolling roaded @ 160bhp & 300ft.lb with no mods.

Focus ST front brakes are a very popular mod.

Loved my old one. Just did everything I asked of it. Will be on the lookout for another when I come back the UK. Did Teesside to Dorset on one tank. Regularly saw above 45mpg from it. Had Xenons, Bluetooth and Satnav. ***sigh***

injector issues, egr valve issues tend to continually send the car into limp mode.mines eats front tyres for some reason but you will struggle to find a better spec car for the money.comfortable and good on fuel especially on a long journey

suspension is for the st models but every mondeo came with the same size brakes front (300mm) and rear (280mm), the only difference being the estate rear calipers which are for estate fitment only
