Default Nexen N2000 tyres?

Anybody used the above tyres. Need a tyre for my Mondy so was gonna give one of these a try as the reviews on Blackcircles don't seem too bad. Was going to try Kumho KH31 (?) but apparently they are struggling to get them at the moment.

Nothing at all wrong with the nexens or there's another budget tyre we use a lot of called event. The kumhos are more of a midrange tyre so will be slightly better

I don't really want anything to exotic as it's not a performance car plus i don't really know how long i'm going to keep be keeping it for so i was going to spend around Ł60.00.

I must admit i haven't. I really just wanted to take it somewhere that supplies and fits. Agreed i might save a few quid on the tyre but then i'd have to pay carriage & fitting charges on top.

I thought they were both mid range (according to blackcircles.com anyway). There's only about Ł1 difference between the Kumho & Nexen.

Try Hankook Prime 105, low price but awsome, currently running a pair of these on a mk3 astra, that gets stick all the time, I'd certainly have these before F1's for example, and yes have used both loads of times.

195/60/15 V rated. Had the Nexen fitted yesterday, cost Ł55.50 for the tyre and about Ł22 for wheel alignment sorting.
Had a word with the fitter about the brand and he said they were a decent tyre maker, not very big in the UK but very big in the USA where they make tyres for virtually everything starting very small and going up to about 24".
Will just have to see how i get on, if they are shit i won't get them again and it's only cost me Ł55 to find out.
