c-max dash stays lit up all the time?

Default c-max dash stays lit up all the time?

is that right?

basically i noticed earlier that the odeometer part is lit all the time. is that right? i would have thought that it would all turn off when locked etc??

Ours stops on for a couple of minutes

What I did find Daft is if the battery is low the headlamps illuminate whilst trying to start it ....

weird, checked earlier and it is now off!

i had been out in it, but got gome for over an hour when i looked out the window and seen the reflection!

so it does stay on for a bit then, but why?

looks like its ok then lol

Fook knows, but mine in my focus stays on for half hour or so! Not actually timed it, but it stays on for a while lol

Most new fords have a power hold relay, focus, mondeo etc which stays live for around 20mins, its a nightmare when you are checking for a drain as you have to wait 20 to 30 min before it powers down

yeh totally correct.the car goes into a kind of sleep mode and all ecus still have power going to them incase you may want to jump in and start it up again,saves them all powering up again.after the 20-30 min period if nothing has happened then the car will completely shut down,unless there is a fault with the stereo in which case will keep the car alive as such until battery goes flat lol
