who'd have thought 1.5 degrees would have made SUCH a difference
the rear wheel on the fiesta has been at a bit of a funny angle ever since we bought it and a while ago i had the beam bushes done as everyone said these were the culprits
popped down to totd and got some poly ones fitted and the rear of the car was better, but this wheel was still pointing a funny direction
so next thing was to chane the whole beam, as that's what would be bent
so i got one and back to tod i went to see when they could fit it
"it's more likely to be one of the hub spindles that bent"
so i went and got another beam, this time with spindles on it
totd fitted the spindle this morning and blimey what a difference it's made
i've now got to learn to drive the car all over again as it's brilliant
before it would hit a pot hole or a bump in the road and the back end would be all over the place but now, it keeps itself in a straight line
cornering before was all over the place with the back end skiping everywhere but now it's tight on the button
and keeping in mind that the weather outside is cats and dogs, it's going to be even better in the dry
so to say i'm happy would be an understatement
so thanks to the guy i collected the beam from, i'll find his name out later and add it in, and the lads from torque of the devil for suggesting the most obvious fix and fitting it in about 10 minutes
now i've got to call them and tell them the good news
