Focus ST 225 decat Q! Removing MIL light??
Hi guys. Had my ST for nearly a year and got to the stage where I want to start putting money into it.
I havent got the patience or the funds to go the whole hog all at once such as a complete stage upgrade and remap etc so I want do it bit by bit.
I was going to start off with a K&N Gen 2 and a Decat. I've read that decatting them will introduce the management light although it can be turned off when remapped. As I said I cant afford the remap yet and dont want to do that until I got everything I want for the engine.
Is there another way that it can be turned off such as a normal diagnostic device and will it stay off??
If not will it limit the perfomance of the engine while it is active?
