Here's a good place to go for a rough guide - just alter the fuel costs to suit your own car and the distance you've got to drive from your house to get to the ferry (actually, scratch that last one, as I see you're in Dover already!) I would add that the B&B prices I've seen while looking often tend to be higher than listed here, so I'd double-check availability first - a site like this one: http://www.booking.com/searchresults...Cdi&ss=nurburg will help matters.

I really wanted to go last year, but decided in the end that the money could be better spent going on down to the Alps and driving some proper passes - much cheaper than paying £20 for 13 miles on a sometimes busy circuit with a few nutters in the mix!

inluduing fuel and tyre wear and tear etc, I reckon its about 40 quid a lap realistically.

If you search on here Si B did a good breakdown of costs and so did Stu.

Well, roughly ~60 - 100 EUR ferry or train forth and back
1.40 - 1.50 € fuel per litre, ~ 440 km Calais - Adenau. Each round 25,378 km.
No road toll in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. I'm not sure about France, but when I went to GB in 2010 the roads between Luxembourg and Dunkerque were free of charge.

1 round Nürburgring: 24,-- EUR
4 rounds: 89,-- EUR incl. 10,-- EUR bonus for food at Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle and 1 entrance to ring°werk
15 rounds: 150,-- EUR incl. 20,-- - " -

There are several accomodation links on the Nürburgring homepage. 40 EUR+++++ per night

Going to Switzerland/Italy/Austria/Germany for some nice pass roads isn't a bargain

It doesn't really matter with the cost, obviously cheaper the better, but I for one wasn't really fussed with how much it cost or how much it'll cost in future. Its a one of a kind experience

£200? Jesus, I spent that on laps alone for one of the trips and the fuel was probably double that
