Am i missing summit.......... 3 new sensors work totally different??? If the Rads blocked, then why do the sensors all read different? surely if sensors are in the same place and in the same rad, they would read the same???? weather rad is blocked or not?

Likewise, how can a car with an 82 degree thermostat possibly have enough coolant flow through a radiator to keep the fans on at under 70 degs? The thermostat is closed well before that temp so the radiator is not even part of the cooling system lol

No, that car wont be running for days.
Yes, the non linear equation here is called "Convection" and the answer will be totally dependant on various other conditions due to the very simple fact that we are attempting to measure the temperature of static water via some neighboring flowing water. Pointless.
The fact is though, nobody knows if these 3 switches even work or not, all we know is we have sold over 600, and had only one back.(To my knowledge) Steve then gets three, and none of them work. I have since sold a few, and all to my knowledge work.
Maybe Steve really is that unlucky? Maybe hes not and the rad is knackered? Maybe the switches only work in real Cosworths? Nobody knows... but what we DO all surely know for sure is that a few quid switch is not worth a 54 page internet discussion chaps. Especially on Valentines night.. LOL

That does still not answer why every individual switch does the same each time, and his original switch is still the same to this day!
Maybe try sending Steve another?

I have gone above and beyond for this individual issue now, sending two extras out on next day delivery at my cost. We are running at a big enough loss with this job as it is and wont be sending any extra ones out. Steve is welcome to bring his car here so we can look at the issue.

I would go with teh rad seeing as I have had exactly the same thing happen on my old escos....
we gave up at two fan switches though. Flushed rad many times...
Nothing until new rad then worked perfect.
Come to think of it same thing happened on my first saff too!!!!
