Ive just done a set of my own wheels in hammerite satin silver, come up great with little work, going to get some lacquer on them one night this week for shiny'ness!

But you shouldn't go far wrong with hammerite black surely!

I used some simonz tough roofbar paint on some bits and was amazed at the finish out of the can and was tough.

Pretty much covered in a single coat but take 7 days to dry and it really did take 7 days!!

this is prior to any polishing up, can finish

I've recently bought some glass black for my cossie sapph, I really like the colour.
I was going to get some different wheels to the dezent motion2 that I did get and have them done in gloss black, powder coated, but from previous experience found normal wet painted was a LOT better and harder wearing, esp when/if it gets chipped.
