Default T34.63 replacement, less lag and more power

My Mar-m247 T34 needs rebuilding shortly as it's got play in the shaft, it's on a STD YB stg3, 803s so what are my options for less lag better spool up and more power and also retain mild anti lag? I'm hearing a GT3071 will provide no less power lower down if set up well, so is it possible to marry the two together? Is there a turbo available that gives better low down response but without losing top end power?
I don't want to replace any engine internals yet and I think it's on a YB0611 head gasket. I'm thinking a T34 .48 run to it's max, so what kind of power can I expect from that? Or I get the ALS .63 rebuilt and get 380bhp with an injector change

What are you guys running, I want more low down grunt, how does yours drive, whens the power come in etc etc

Stick a V8 in it if you want low down torque

Ooh an idea haha V8
I really don't yet need or want 480bhp, I don't have the gearbox or head gasket for that but there must be a way of having better spool up than a T34.63 but upto 380bhp?

my t34.48 used to come in strong at around 3k would start spooling at around 2.5k and made 353bhp when pushed hard but had it eased off to 332 I dont like to over push things!

C. i have a T35.55 on mine with 30psi peak and it made 355bhp/360ft/lb and is very punchy and not laggy at all bud.

I'd go for the T34.63 if i were you if 380bhp is all you require, maybe a cam change to get some nice torque too, this way you'll have a quick reliable road cossie..

Oh, and get some 55, or 72lb Injectors too fella..

He already has a T34.63!

I think hes asking what Garrett GT turbo is rated to the same power but with less lag, and that would be something along the lines of a GT28RS.

What's a GT2871r/rs good formed power and what's it's come in at? And do they support ALS ok? Could I fit my T34 mar-m shaft? I really want toimprove on what I have already, it will be fitted to a STD engine, if anything I may change the inlet until the head gasket goes and that's it. 380bhp is plenty, I cant control 260 all they time yet haha.

No I've not seen him since mid December when he failed to show at the gym, made his excuses blah blah, is he visiting you then?

Ok I've got an idea, fitting air injectors and siemens fuel injectors, could those together with what inlet be set up to produce a lower lag engine, I really don't want to be clutch slipping low end second gear exits, I want more power all the time.

If you want to keep responce up i would go for the smallest plenum that you can get away with without it becoming restrictive.

I personally think then a T34.48 housing, 55s and live map, this will be as punchy near as damn it to a T3 car but have that little extra top end, you'll see 350-360bhp on this too, don't go chasing numbers pal, a genuine 360/360 cossie is a very quick road car and you'll not really notice 380 from 360 anyone truth be known..

Ok I will stick with my 2wd plenum and throttlebody for response? would a tubular exhaust manifold help with drivability at that level or are there no gains to be made untill higher power and boost levels?
Do GT turbos not take ALS even with a shaft change, I thought Mike rainbird did a T4/ GT ALS turbo??
I'm not after chasing BHP figures as costs escalate and I cant afford a gearbox and engine to match just yet, the next engine will be totally different if I stick with YBs

I think you're over complicating things tbh fella, as i and others have said, for the 360-380ish bhp you're after just stick with the basics mate.

Live Map
500Cooler
55s
T34.48
Cam?
2wd Inlet
etc etc
