Well its up and running

Im glad to say that the new bike business is giving me a spark back i once had for thecossie scene

I have decided to still deal and break cossies but just try and only do big spec stuff

The bikes i deal in are either propper old british classics or future classics , 80"s and 90"s stuff

My neighbour used to have a shaft driven z1000 a few years ago had a shot once and wanted to buy it but was askin silly moneyfor it

Split rim wheels / all braided hoses etc

Flat side carbs with k+n filters

Ohlins suspension

The father in law who lives in NZ is over here for a few weeks and going by what he tells us things may be getting a bit easier to get in again

they clamped down 2 years ago as there was to many trying

I had a 83 IT490 up until last year but when I sold my newer bikes I also sold my old ones to a guy I used to do motocross with,he restores early 80s moto cross .Bugger for getting parts for I had to get stuff from the states.That Z is superb,one of my other mates has one which hes modified and owned for about 20 years.Mono shocked,different wheels etc and turbo charged.It was mainly built for the bulldog bash but I must say its not a patch on yours

What power is that 1100 paul and how does it compare to an R1?

Gotta say i know nothing about bikes lol

 

that yz490 looks mint. a mate had one in a cr250 frame and at about 20mph in 4th it would just pull front wheel up when winding on.

 

i may be able to drum up some interest in the big z over on the pb site for you

Some of those bikes are uber cool and brick back some memories for sure how come you never see the oldies on the road. I guess like the ford rs scene you go to a bike show see loads i guess????
