I have been looking and it doesn't seem like there are many places doing -3 to 7/16" for air injectors and -3 to 1/8th npt for wastegates but they are available everywhere for -4 so i assume that's the one to use,

Thanks Roosie

We normally use the same -3 hose as the brake pipes we made you.

It seems both are used depending on who you speak to, thing is the fittings dont seem to be readily available in -3

Yea things are good, thanks. How you getting on with the fiesta?
We uesd a banjo fitting on the waste gate and had some fittings for the turbo and air injectors lying around. Not sure if there's any left but I'll have a look for you.

Fiesta is sitting up in primer now mate as haven't got the lump of cash to paint it at the moment so concentrating on building up engine and ancillaries, then once everything else is ready I will get it painted last I think.

I've sorted some aeroquip fittings now mate so not to worry, thanks anyway

Have ordered up all -4 as people have no issues using it and it's easier to get black fittings in -4

Thanks

It's not a particularly critical one Mark, as it is only pressure you're moving rather than fluid volume.

-4 is absolutely fine.

Generally if there are two ports on the wastegate you leave the top one open and use the one on side around the middle connected to the outlet of your air injector.

As always though, double check the installation instructions from the wastegate manufacturer.

It should be the bottom port then if it's turbosmart.
