Carlo, Martin sold it to a fella in Australia and it was then repainted again into the Damon Hill / Moss scheme that it had run in its previous life, thats the actual car in its new scheme on page 1 racing in Aus historics these days

The aussies have set up a historic race series for them and with a strong dollar they snapped them up, doubt they will come back home any time soon.
There has been talk of a similar series over here but nothings happened yet. A few owners are champing at the bit for it to start.
One of the aussies who owns a couple of them said to me that they will ship theres over for the races if it happens

I saved quite a few of them over the years. Got a bit more the 1300 different photo's of RS500, old and new. But always looking for more. Maybe there is something like an Australian website with plenty of pics?

The teams would have bought a kit of parts when the cars were homologated on 1st August 87 either from Ford Cologne or Boreham and retro fitted this to the 3dr group A race cars to bring them up to 500 spec body wise and mechanically, in the case of the Barclay cars they were built by Wolf in Germany so I imagine they would have done the upgrade.

The last two used sets have sold for 3k each with adapters and a new set is over 4k from BBS then you need the adapters on top so that another Ł800 so I guess it depends what your budget is, they very rarely come up for sale, once every couple of years at best.
The billet repro ones should be cheaper though on the other thread.
