Starting a Focus project :)
Hey all, just a quick introduction really. My current project car is a 1993 Mitsubishi GTO which is proving far too expensive to use as a second car, so I've decided to sell it and work on my daily drive instead, which is a 2003 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 115 Zetec.
My aim is some very subtle styling mods but mainly looking for as much power as I can get without breaking the bank while maintaining economy. At the moment I'm thinking of some st170 alloys and lowering it slightly on the styling front, and Panel filter, inter cooler, full high flow exhaust with sports cat and a good remap on the performance front.
I'm going to do a fair bit of reading before I ask any questions, just wanted to say Hi. so....

Hi mate. I wouldn't waste your time with a performance panel filter as it made no difference on my tdci and apparently the standard filters flow enough.
From the reading I've done you will struggle to get anymore than 140-145bhp due to the head on these engines being very restrictive and I think anymore power after that will come at great cost due to bigger injectors, turbo and stronger clutch needed.
I have a roverron tunning box fitted to mine which has made a fantastic difference to the power delivery and the car feels very lively. I did lots of research on tuning boxes before buying this one and found it to be the best.
