Standard or K&N panel filter for ST170?

Default Standard or K&N panel filter for ST170?
When looking at fuel econemy what air filter would be best fitted to an ST170? A K&N panel filter or just a standard ford air filter?

K&N by a long way, also cheaper in the long run too.

No idea TBH, i bought my brand new and fitted a bluefin, panel filter, de-cat and exhaust within the first week of owning it and drove it pretty hard the majority of the time.

IIRC it got like 280-300 miles per tank i think.

I just wish i had a K&N panel filter, i have a K&N typhoon and get roughly 20-22mpg or 220 miles to a tank but i think i have a lazy bank one lambda sensor. If i cane it i get around 18mpg lol mine is not standard though

Ive got a k&n induction kit and a backbox on mine and if you dont go above 70 I can get 350miles from a tank
