my old car on ebay stay clear
well i sold this car early last year with 157 thou on the clock
now its on ebay with a lot less the cheecky cu** has even used my photos and not botherd to take his own
i bought the car from a friend with the nsf corner damaged wing wishbone strut rollbar headlight bonnet. when i sold it i did tell the lad this and showed him photos. just emailed him with our lasses account so he dont know it was me asked him if milage was genuine and has it been in a accident he said no and milage is genuine and he has papers to prove.. how can he have very crafty.

anyway a simple check on the mot checker site will soon show it up so unless you buy without doing the check dont really see how he can get away with it

he bought it from leeds he says it has new towbar where in pics i dont see one. because they are the pics i used ask him where he took photos
i sold car with service history up until 2005 not full history lower shocks beacuse i got them cheeper than the price of 1 new shock on ebay

it says he has done the mot check through the dvla and the milage is correct?
ive have been on the vosa web site to check the mileage and you can check yourself from 2006 to present date the mileage is correct and i have the print out, and i have the service book to backup before then from the vw main dealer.
are you sure its the same car?

He then told me he is selling it for a mate i just said can i have his name and number he told me he dont have phone or internet sound fishy im now contacting ebay and dvla
.........i quote i repaired and sold that car last year with a little over 157 tho.....

emailed ebay contacted dvla who are looking into it, so has my m8 i got car from.
i would hate for someone to buy that and get there fingers burnt.

Don't think that's the case, think it's more likely to be crossed wires somewhere. The advert looks legit and the DVLA seems to back up everything that the seller is claiming. Something seems a bit odd though.

im the owner on ebay
where do i start ,well first thing is i got a text on ebay
saying that i was the owner of that car and it had 30k more miles on it.
i got the car out of trader as i had gone to buy on audi a4 tdi from near leeds and it was a total heep so me and my neighbour got the trade back out and starting looking again and found this bora not to far from where we was so we gave him a ring to see the car and he was in bed waited for him to get up and show me the car he let go round the block in the car and it was fine so i made him an offer and he said no so we set off to come home but not far from his house was a snack bar so we pulled in and had a BIG breakfast and my friend said offer him a bit more as it was not a bad car so i said you go offer him that he said ok so we went back and the kid said ok the MILEAGE IN THE TRADER AND ON THE CLOCKS AND MOT WHEN I GOT IT WAS ABOUT 112000 so why is he say ive clocked the car ive had it about 8 month and done 12000 mile trouble free .ive done my up most to check the car and mileage and it come back fine.
so just dont under stand why he is say this inless he is gutted how cheap i got the car off him but he could off said no he told me he was going to buy the new 170(bhp) audi i think hes just an total idiot .

yes that link is what i used and someone has posted the detail on here and if you read them it check out and ive got 3 mot that back it up and the service book , and hes saying the car had 157000 miles when he had it but how long ago was that as it must of been over 3 years or how can you change vosa and the 3 mot ive got !!!!!!!!

hi i ive got the log book here now in front of and it states that he had the car from 13/05/2009 and he sold it to me on the 09/05/2010 and if you look at the report from vosa he got it with 104000 and odd and he saying he sold it to me with 157000????? i would not even buy a car with that high miles on i always try to buy one with about 100000 drive it for a year or so then sell it before the miles go to high . ive not had chance to ring auto trader yet but ive looked on the trader web site and you can get the add back ive just got to give them the reg and date which ive got so hes just a prat and i will post the trader add as soon as i get it.
update ive got the item number but i cannot see the ad 320527752781 as its more then 90 days old

after speaking with the buyer Ive come to the conclusion he is a genuine guy. has 100% feedback on ebay aswell
and as you say he seems to have proof of miledge and so on,
if the op could fine the pictures showing the damage that would be 1 step forward i guess
