Arrow Focus - Fuelling a 2.0 On a 1.6 ECU Help

Im looking into buying a Focus 1.6 Blacktop in which the bottom end has gone, i have a spare 2.0 Blacktop in my shed that will go straight in - im just worried about the fuelling with the 1.6 ECU, will it be TOO lean for the 2.0 or would it not be that bad if not driven hard? The replacement engine still has all the 2.0 injectors etc. Any help appreciated.

Surely you just better off getting an engine loom and ECU with key from the scrappers.

Can't be more than £80 and there very easy to change.

There youve got yourself a nice motor

What he ^^ says, the Sigma (Zetec-SE) and Zetec-E which the 2L is are completely different engines, the only resemblance being the name. One main difference being the inlet and exhaust are on opposing sides, there are far to many things to list but suffice to say unless you have a 2L donor car parked next to it to swap everything there is a lot of work involved, you also need the correct suspension as the bigger engine is heavier.

i'd say ignore the original ecu problem

get a mtech v4 or simular ecu and a set of bike throttle boddies

165 bhp of fun!

or go without the throttle boddies to start with and probably get 150 bhp
