Use the Eibach ones rather than the skanky cheap ones and you will be alright IMO

Same here, they are very good. We ran in the Irish T/A for 2 years on a set, never a problem

If you are talking about 20mm, you should be able to adapt to anything you want mate, thats enough thickness to change the centre bore and the PCD anyway on a bolt on hubcentric adaptor.

Ford/pug/citreon PCD is 4 * 108

Vauxhall/renault/vw is 4 * 100

Spikey, what wheels are you trying to put on what car, rather than everyone playing guessing games, I've done quite a lot with adaptiing wheels etc over the years so can probably give you a pretty much definitive answer about if what you want to do is possible or not.

what ford fitment, there are a few lol

i tried to fit some tsw hocks off my old mk4 escort onto a 205 gti, fronts went on fine, but rears needed a bigger hub offset to clear the inner arches.

so a 20mm spacer on the rears seems about right imo.

Being aftermarket wheels you can just rip the spigot adaptor out and put the correct one in for your car (they bore them big then adapt them down)
So that will get them to fit.

In terms of offset correction, you just need a hubcentric adaptor of the correct size.

If its 20mm, get a bolt on one, if its less than that just get longer studs that go straight through.

well, i didnt have slicks but a welded diff with 30mm spacers on the rear and 20mm spacers on the front.

and on avo coilovers with esscentric top mounts pretty low.

used as a daily for about a year, and fucking abused EVERYWHERE. no issues to report.

That's not quite the same as a track car on slicks though

Road conditions get no where near track conditions

Ronnie, have them dude

ford center bore is smaller than the pugs so the spacers offered could be made to fit

There is nothing wrong with spacers, I really dont get the internet problem with them, if used correctly.

If you have wheels of the wrong offset, by all means correct that with a well machined adaptor. The problem is "my alloys wont fit over my brakes" so folk fit some monster spacers which overload the bearings, destroy the handling..... But then thats only the same as fitting wheels of the wrong offset in the first place!

Provided they are well machined and fit, youll be fine.
