* I understand that cars are 99% of the time never an investment, however, a mini-mileage RB320 will be worth a bit of coin in a few years time once the others have been chavved up, written off or got mid-high miles on them.
The RB has just turned 8k. IMO, it is better looking than the BM - from every angle it has some nice touches that make it look like Darth Vader's car . It was used a bit over the winter, but as soon as the snow came, despite it's 4wd, it is rubbish in the snow, due in the main to the crappy Bridgestone RE70 tyres (which are really only summer use tyres, as they're not even good in the wet). So the UK300 took over, as it doesn't matter if that gets smacked up, as it isn't worth anywhere near as much .

Is that the blue one? As thought the RB was a pretty recent model? Seen the UK300 at Norfolk meets a few times, looks tidy given the mileage, though I've only ever really glanced at it.

Nice motors though, had a quick blast in the standard WRX and was quite impressed by it really. Some collection even with just those few though, be interesting to know what others you have hidden away. Always quite interesting to see what other cars people have, as a lot of people seem to have soft spots for other makes and models as well as the usual Ford suspects. Like Mr Hadland and the Firenza for example!

Yes, I have seen that a few times too I think.......sadly

That would make sense, did think the RB was quite a recent model. Don't see many of them around, though there is one knocking around here. What's the spec over the standard models?

Mike thought that as they had named the RainBird edition after him, he ought to own one?

Guessing he is a massive Richard Burns fan so bought it partly as a reasonable investment as it should hold value better due to the rarity and partly just cause its a fucking cool tribute to an awesome driver and so just a great car to own

Jen wanted a replacement for the blue car, but we both hate the current model, so the last of the saloons seemed a good idea. It really is a beautiful looking car .
