Not a good idea IMO to bypass the heater matrix I done it on my old 4x4 saff and it always ran very hot.

I cant see it making any difference done it on other cars, no air will be going though it in the summer any way, you just need to join the 2 pipes together

I bought a pipe joiner from Halfords and joined them on my brother's old car as the matrix was leaking. You won't need a new pipe

Bypassing the heater matrix will make no difference as long as the pipes are simply joined unless you had an existing cooling problem and you were using the heater to pull the temps down?

Anyhow, the pipe required is available from Roose.

can you not just block the flange were it goes in at back of engine and the bit on pump or does it have to go through both parts?

disconnect both pipes from the matrix, join them together with a bit of copper pipe
job done

or put the correct hose in as per martin's reply

Default Bypass hose

Give Paul a ring at Roose motorsport. He will be able to sort the hoses out.

I would just join the 2 pipes together, don't know why anyone would not want a heater.
It is perfectly safe to block the holes as roosie has done.

Yes you will the feed comes from pump via the matrix and back to the head IIRC, so by joining the two pipes all you are doing is bypassing the matrix.
