i had a good go at cleaning the interior of my galaxy last week and the carpet came up pretty nicely with some of that foaming stuff that you spray on.

the seats are a bit dirty as well, but as they are quite a 'hard' material, the foam didn't really do anything about lifting the dirt out, it just made them wet.

anybody got any recommendations please?

Cant you get like a hover that washers with water? I have one for the carpet in the house but im sure you can get a hand bit for it to do things like seats or rent one and go mad for the day using it.

Yep, rent a carpet cleaner, I use a Karcher one. Washing powder you would normally use in the washing machine works a treat perfectly well too.

I use upholstry cleaner, give it a good scrub, let it soak for a few mins then a good go over with a vax machine to get it all out. It's amazing how much shit comes out of car seats!

By the time you have bought the cleaner you may awell get a valeter in just to wetvax the seats,i charge Ł20 to do the seats and its no more than a half hours work
Im sure there wil be one near you that would come out and give the seats a going over
