Default cosworth rough idle?? any answers

Hi I have a 4x4 sapphire 91 plate and I think it's possibly stage 3 conversion. The idle is all over the place up/down is this normal? or what can i do to make it better?

We you chip and change them are they always rough on idle?

Rough idle is normally caused by an air leak somewhere.

Have a butchers when you get 5 minutes.

Does it do this when hot and/or cold ?

When the engine is warmed up, unplug the idle valve.....Does it idle nicely now ?
