I have a stg4 X-flow head off them, and always use to rev it past 7k, never missed a beat at all mate. I think he is good on X-flow + Pinto stuff, but not sure about anything else. Ive also had a few mates who have had engine from them and never had any problems. The bloke who owns it (steve) is a very helpful chap too.

Cheers
Mike.

yeah i have been looking at there web site and reading stuff i found in classic ford from a while ago. im after a crossflow, think im gonna go for there 110bhp one. its for a fiesta, im presuming they do that block as well. gonna give them a call tomorrow.
i was gonna build my own engone up, but to do it right, it would still cost loads, so i think im gonna just get Mr Barclay card out and give it a bashing. at least i know it will work when i turn the key, and hopfuly it should come with a garentee of some kind....

I bought some big valve heads for a Rover V8 I was building and they said the heads were good for 275 bhp, it actually made 333bhp and 320 lbsft. That is why I went back to them, my last RS2000 16V (2.3 conversion on bike bodies) made 216 bhp using their head on power engineerings rollers so they have some idea of what they are doing but customer service seems a bit shite from some of the stories on here

If its a mk1 fiesta, all it is is a horizontal version of the escort ones. If its later, i dunno if he does them unless they are CVH. Phone him up, he's a nice bloke.

Had a bottem end put together, rebore, new pistons lighten and ballanced,
new cam, and they supplied a pair of maxiflow 2 heads ( v6 ) before the
heads were put on i wanted to get the sump baffeld, so i took the hole lot
to an engine builder so he could moddify the oil pick up pipe, to go with the
baffeld sump, and on inspection, two of the rods had been put in the wrong
way round, on seeing this i had the hole engine pulled down and the swarf
that came out from behind the cam bearings was unbeleivable, and to add
insult to injury, the cam bearings were completley shot. Speaking to Steve
blanchot, who then just worked there, said he had only ever changed two
sets of cam bearings in 14 years, and the saturday boy had put the bottom
end together, and somebody forgot to cheque his work.
they did offer to put it right, but i declined.
On checking the cylinder heads, three of the valves were not seating .
So on a hole i wouldnt go there again, but maybe i was just unluckey, and
am sure all there work cant be that bad, theyd be out of buisness.
