Top Gear Apocalypse

A couple months ago the Beeb contacted my mate through the forums as they were making a vid for Christmas and Hampster being a Yank Fan wanted a 70's Mustle car.
The deal was done and a Covered recovery truck turned up and took the car away for 2 weeks filming in Wales.
Does seem weird seeing it on a Vid and the Hampster Driving it as NO ONE except my mate normaly drives it, but hamond did ask if it would be ok to "Loon it"
My made said "yeah" fine as long as you dont say something silly like "oops i didnt see that cliff there"
Anyway, all Valeted up, fuelled up and the Nitrous Tanked charged. Off it went

Guy up the road from my parents has been working on a Mach 1 Convertable fastback Mustang, according to the engine and chassis number, its the third one ever to roll off the production line. The work he has put into it looks very much like your mate has.

He was asked what he wanted for hiring it out but all he asked for was his name on the credits and a couple signed copys of the dvd.....oh and to take care of it.
He did say it was a very weird experiance to see his car being driving on the telly while he was sitting on the soffa knowing its parked in his garge outside.
Its now in this months Custom car

My cousin had a GTO Judge, love these cars.

Fair play, must have been a wierd feeling lending your pride and joy to someone to rag around, even if it was the BBC.

They've used the road between penderyn and glyn tarell a4059.amazing road,good challenge for car or bike.

I'll watch it again and see if I can spot anywhere near me on gower.

Anyone seen the new one Clarksons brought out? not the greatest one hes done, but he does do up a mexico and races it in a historic touring car race. Pretty good but wish they did a bit more of that then the italian cars.
