i am not a rich guy,
just work hard and allways have,
had a bit of luck with buying ect,
but i dont smoke or drink and spend all my time/cash on these cars,
my wife great, as see does not even have a garage key and never goes in there!
she does not drive and has no interest in cars at all,
which is fine by me,
the main difference with this one is i have bought it to race and as such am not worried about keeping it original or minty!!!
dream come true for me,
one things for shore my first season i will be taking it easy at the back keeping out of everones way,

Martin, for any ford fan like me you have the most depressing garage... because it's not ours!!!! .. well done and enjoy using the new toy properly and BTW the harvey car is my all time favorite because of it's total originallity, well done and good luck.
one more thing have you got a national racing licence? or are you about to do the course?
steve

marco mate dust that suit off i need you to show me the race lines!!
got my race licence last year, but i am still a bigginer,
and have no ideas of winners races yet,
i will be at the back and happy to be there for a while at least.
the car will stay white, but i have not yet decided anything about the grahics,

the only one i may miss
is the anglesey track as its 340 miles from me!!!
this racing is very exspensive,
cost so far
ARDS £200
MEDICAL £110
BRSCC MEMBERSHIP £145
championship membership £185
and thats without entry fees
before the car turns a wheel,
hope its worth it.

Can't make a few of those dates as I will be in NZ for the Lions, but 90% of em are all good. Just put them in my Diary.
Is that a Typo for the last Double Header ( ) at Brands? should it be 22nd and 23rd?

you can as far as i am know,
did whot ever rounds you like,
but you still have the exspence of jioning the championship and brscc membership also need a race licence,
this championship uses dunlop do1j road legal slicks,
so any cars has to use these,

Yes, I spoke to the guy who runs the series. There were some strange rules, like not having a brake bias adjuster and it wou did have one then you have to wire it in one position... the other one was that Escorts were allowed WI but Sierra weren't.
17's was the max for Sierras as well but Escorts can have 18's.
I remember some transmission rules as well but the guy said they were short on numbers and so may let people get away with a few things

Cool as fk Martin. Thought you were getting away from the RS500's tho and gonna get Mondeo or BMW M3 touring car to replace the road-RS500?? Superb.
Favourite pic with these three so far...

update,
my first full days work on the new car,
not a lot done,
the old owner has never heard of copper slip,
the front wheel nuts came off with the aid of a five feet bar, very tight,
alloy hubs and alloy 90m nuts,
the rear wheel nuts where a different matter,
steel hubs with the same alloy 90m nuts, not a good mix, not been off for atleast five years, and must have been air impackted on,
six hours later i had to cut the blooody things off!
luck for me i had some spares ones,
after a bit of cleaning the new ones are now on,
i love these sierra,
because i grease my ones i dont have this problem normaly,
not bad for my first day
