crank sensor know alls .......
what you trying to do??
i presume you mean to power the st170 dash, ie you want to split the analogue sine wave output of the ford crank sensor and have one wire going to aftermarket ECU and the other to the original ECU to power the dash.

Yeah split the signal to the ecu and to the dash off the 1 crank sensor? can it be done? or is it best to keep them seperate?

I think ill simply run 2 seperate crank sensors , one for the ecu and one for the dash, NO confusion that way ;o)

The wrc crank sensor bracket mounts at 180 degrees from the standard one, (imagine 10 oclock location and the standard at 5 oclock) if you plan to use one you need to modify the alloy front crank seal holder (the one that bolts to the sump) so that it does not foul the bracket (easy to do and obvious where, when you try to fit the bracket), you also need to use a 4x4 water pump as it will foul on a 2wd pump as one of the inlet pipes gets in the way.
Have a look at this post i think it wot you are looking for mate

Simon, does the Focus dash normally read from a 36-1 trigger wheel as I assume that's what your using?
Personally I would not piggyback any sensors and risk something. Was advised this by Pectel when I looked into this before.
I have no idea what the Focus dash counts in the first place so difficult to say.
