Default Brake discs/pads for ST170

I'm looking for new front brake disc & pads for my ST170.

Currently using Black Diamond and have found them good, but can't afford to buy the same set again, so looing for a cheaper one. But I've looked on eBay and there are so many to choose - which brand is best?

Thanks,

No recommendations?

Or am I better off with staying with the standard ST170 discs & pads?

Thanks.

Get some ebc yellowstuff pads with cheapo discs from L&R, yellows work perfect from cold as well.

What are your thoughts about the Mintex front discs and pads - are they any good for general road use?

Thanks all

L&R are a local(to me and author) motor factors.
I have used mintex, absolutely fine no issues, found the 1144 and 1155 pads VERY dirty/dusty and soft, a very quiet pad, but not in same league imo as reds/yellows.
