Dan just rang to say he had seen the van, gone after it and had a confrontation with the guys in it. In summary he lost... I think he mentioned headlocks and threats to kill... :0(

Glad to hear it, I had a taxi reverse in to me and he gave them different details to the ones I had, I saw the same bloke in the same taxi and my details are correct, I called the police but they were not interested at all! At least they are helping you!

Chop, EP only did the power stuff at the top end as I understand it, with the few bits on the "sort these out" list sorted Dan took it for an MOT and the emissions were high. I was chatting to Dan on MSN last week and he was asking what was involved in adjusting the fuel map, I said I was passing on the M4 and offered to call in and do it to save him trailering it back to EP.
I'd agreed with dan that I'd have a look at the idle, the cruise fuelling and quickly check the top end so that at least he could give it a squirt once it had it's "ticket on it. Weather today limited us to just low speed drivability, idle etc.
I think Dan intended to go back to EP for them to finish off what they started, I was just helping him through the MOT and making it a bit nicer to drive for him to get it back

Grown up around Pikeys, my town is full of them, they are total cunts, they go around heavy handed and no one can touch them, not even the police, half of the fuckers dont even exist on paper. On their own they are just gobby but in a group they are intimidating as feck. They shut town down on a regular basis due to pikey weddings, fueds and bare knuckle fighting.

get the form for driver details into DVLA ASAP as once things turn nasty the police will NOT give you the address of the owner/keeper but chances are it will slip through the DVLA net and your form will be accepted as you have a valid reason for the address details.
A quad or a biker on wrong side of road or going down wrong way on a one way street will get rammed by me. No way id crash to avoid it. the cunt will always come off worse.
i hope he has gone to police. Did he follow them afterwards while dialing 999??? TBH unless i was tooled up, i would have just followed them to get an address.

Dan,get the car back and you can borrow my pull dozer to get the damage out,it's a piece of piss to use,I'll meet you half way if you want,just needs a van or trailer to put it on,maybe a big estate?your welcome to borrow it as long as you want really,I've got the bodydozer kit as well.there's very little it won't pull on an old car like that and your pretty handy with the tools so it won't take me five minutes to show you how to set it up.
I'm devastated for you mate,really I am and what they've done is a total cunts trick,but if their Gyppos I'd leave it there mate,their horrid bullying cunts that will end up fucking you over so it ain't worth it,but keep your powder dry,they'll soon fuck up.

some1 tried to cut infront of his missus and scratched his front bumper, nothing big, but his bird took the reg details, and passed it on to his insurance company,
long story short, last week the police called him and the bloke is now going to court for failing to stop, leavin the scene of an accident, a few things, hes now looking at a £2k fine and a 6 month ban. and his insurance company is paying out for my m8s bumper to be sprayed.
when all he had to do in the first place was offer my m8 £100 a forget about it, which he would have.
so dont give up
