Default Ford Focus Mk1 98-04 Hazard Switch HELP

Can any one help me i need to get all switches for my focus and im in need of some help there are 2. tipes of Hazard Switch for the focus one is metal and the uver is plastic and could do with nowing wot the difference between them and can i use both of them / blug in wise

Looks like the metal one has some kind of heatsink on the back? I would assume it's a later revision. As long as the plug on the back physically fits it should be ok?

thats the thing mate there all up as 98/04 and i dont no wot the plug looks like

The will be 2 plugs on a little offshoot of the main loom. One tiny plug into the clock and I think its a blue one into the hazard switch, gimme a shout if you get stuck with the plugs mate, i got to know the focus loom like the back of my hand before I was persuaded to rip it out for a bodge special

Both will fit and work, the variable wash wipe might not work if you've got a mega early loom iirc

it turns out the plastic one has 3 pins in the rear of it and the metal one has 9 pins so i will have to see which loom i have got
