mates, escort si made 144 bhp...
got to say well done to steve my mate whos in the fast ford rolling road shoot out, his 1.8 si which standard is 0nly 115bhp made a very respectable 144bhp @THE FLY
thanks to stu and kenny for the live mappin and setting the venier pulleys up
and to point out that it made more bhp than some rs 2000 and makes more torque than a standard rs2000, but what did worry me abit was the transmission losses a massive 48.2bhp

its hard to say weateher its more to do with the live mappin or the cams or both? best to speake to stu or kenny.. one of the worsts was a zetec 2lt turbo conversion only made 177bhp on the rollers
but when you look at bhp figures you still have to say the cvh 8 valve tuned in 1.6 format is still very good value for money look at tims old s2 tuned by karl to 260 bhp and beat a 4 wheel drive 300 bhp scooby at pod thats if you have seen the mpeg

Kent 1802 fast road cams with vernier pulleys, Power Boost valve, K&N Induction, Magnex cat back exhaust & a mapped evolution chip by motorsport developments and was last set up by Stu & Kenny at MSD

Sorry forgot to say does the transmission loss varey from diff cars ie my mk6 and a mk 4 ?
the reason why I ask is because someone on another forum said the following (wasnt being funny about it tho)
d19ste, i have 90bhp at the wheels on my mk4 xr3i 1600, it standard apart from filter and manifold. By using the same transmission losses as u mine would work out to be 138bhp, more than an rs turbo so with all due respect i think they have got the transmission losses wrong. With 96bhp at the wheels i think your are realistically looking at a flywheel figure of 117bhp. no rudeness intended but your mods maynot be workinga s well as they should and so u should find a bit more power. Tbh 96bhp is about spot on for a normal gti

BTTT would be interested to know why the car seems to have nearly a 50Bhp transmition loss
You could of bought a standard RST and made more power ATW than you did on the day
