I really like the VOLK RE30's
They look a bit like the standard MR wheels, which is why I think they suit it.

I've got 4 sets of Rotas, all used on my 600 bhp Evo, on track and with slicks, and if you watch any of my videos I like to run over the odd high kerb or two.
Never once had an issue with Rota quality or strength. For the money they're bang on IMHO
Sonic Boom / Rich , thanks for that
For a different look, my 19" BBS CH on my old 8 260:
My 18 * 8.5 inch BBS CHs on my brother's car:
And my brother's current Rotas on his MR:
Both of my Evos, silver one has Rota Torque Drifts, 18 * 9.5"
Si

Which alloys did Dave have on his Evo? I remember when i saw his and scotts and thinking the alloys really set them off.

Rota Grid's but hard to find used so GTR's, maybe Torques depending on the colour of the car but either way the need to be 9.5j at least
Best of luck

Dave's were Ultralites like Pete suggested up at the top of your thread. Nice looking wheels
Scott's were Dare Drifts I think:

They look very similar but they really do work well with the shape of the car.

that looks the best one on here and them rotas look nasty, great for showing off to 16 year old single mums and the lads hanging around corner shops though.
the bbs ones look nice too but rally wheels look the best on rally derived cars
